Men's Basketball
- Men’s basketball is open to all male members and attendees at Avondale Bible Church and their invited guests. Youth ages 13 and over are also invited and welcome to participate.
- The play is full court basketball and is semi-competitive to competitive. We have players of all skill levels and try to pair up teams and individual player match-ups as best we can to make play as enjoyable and competitively balanced as possible. You’ll get lots of exercise. Players can take breaks or be substituted for, so you get only as much exercise as you want.
- You do not need to attend each week and we make teams from those that show up each night. Typically we will have 15-20 players per night and the gym allows for two full-court games to be played at a time.
- Basketball is a contact sport, so expect some bumps or bruises from time-to-time. Accidents can happen and cuts or broken bones are possible as they are with most sports, but we play with the intent to have fun and protect everyone's safety.
- This is a fellowship building program as well as great form of exercise. It is a time when Christian men and youth can bond together in a fun activity, in prayer and their love for the Lord, Jesus Christ.
When: Monday nights from 9:00PM 10:00 PM except for holidays and school breaks.
Where: Leota Junior High School Gynasium, Woodinville.
What: Wear basketball shoes, shorts and tee shirt. Sweats are ok and if you don’t have basketball shoes you must wear non-marking tennis shoes to protect the gym floors (no running shoes, street shoes or bare feet). We suggest you bring two tee shirts (1 light colored and 1 dark colored). School district rules do not allow food or drink to be brought into the gym. Water fountains are available.
