Handmade Blessings

Meeting every other Monday of the month
1pm – 3pm in the K-2nd grade class

Handmade Blessings is a missions-oriented group that creates handmade items to donate to those in need.

The main project at hand is to create dresses for women in the mission field who need encouragement.

Contributing to this mission is easy, there is no sewing or crafting experience required to join in service. Sewing patterns are available as you arrive, and if you want to bring your own sewing machine and materials, you are surely welcome. General materials needed for one dress are:

  • One yard of cotton fabric OR cotton pillowcase
  • 27″-46″ of double fold bias tape
  • 12″-30″ of 1/2″ elastic

Handmade Blessings supports “Dress a Girl Around the World.” For more information, visit their website here.
